4. The contract is considered concluded when the seller receives the completed order form from the user, subject to verification of the accuracy of the entered data.

4. The user undertakes to keep their login credentials confidential, storing them carefully and diligently. The transfer of credentials to third parties, even temporarily, is prohibited.
Art. 5 – Product availability
1. Product availability refers to the actual quantity available at the time the buyer places the order. However, this availability is indicative, as simultaneous access by multiple users on the website may result in a product being sold to other customers before the order is confirmed.
2. Even after the order confirmation email has been sent, partial or total unavailability of the merchandise may occur. In this case, the order will be automatically updated by removing the unavailable product, and the buyer will be promptly informed via email.
3. Venezia Maschere will not start producing the products until payment is received. Once payment is received, it undertakes to create the products within the industry-standard timeframe and ship them via courier.
4. If the buyer requests order cancellation before the order is handed over to the courier for shipment, Venezia Maschere will refund the amount paid within 15 days of receiving the cancellation request.
Art. 6 – Products offered
1. Venezia Maschere offers handcrafted Venetian masks for sale, which are entirely handmade and decorated.
2. The full range of available products can be viewed on the official website: https://www.veneziamaschere.com.
Art. 7 – Payment methods and prices
1. The price of the products is as indicated on the website at the time of purchase, except in cases of obvious errors.
2. In the event of a pricing error, Venezia Maschere will promptly inform the buyer, offering the option to confirm the order at the correct price or cancel it. Under no circumstances will Venezia Maschere be obligated to provide the product at the incorrectly stated price.
3. The published prices include VAT but exclude shipping costs. Venezia Maschere reserves the right to modify them at any time; however, price changes will not affect already confirmed orders.
4. After selecting the desired products, they will be added to the shopping cart. The user must then follow the instructions to complete the purchase, entering or verifying the required data at each stage of the process. Order details can be modified before payment.
5. Payments can be made via:
- Credit card (Visa, Mastercard)
- Bank transfer
- Other payment methods made available at Venezia Maschere’s discretion
Customs Duties and Taxes:
6. Any taxes, duties, levies, and other charges required by the legislation of the destination country are solely the responsibility of the buyer. These costs must be paid at the time of delivery directly to the relevant tax or customs authorities or the appointed courier.
Invoicing:
7. If requested by the buyer at the time of order, Venezia Maschere will issue an electronic invoice, which will be sent via email. The invoice will be issued based on the data provided by the buyer and cannot be modified after issuance.
Art. 8 – Delivery methods
1. Venezia Maschere delivers through third-party couriers and reserves the right to select the most suitable courier based on the shipment destination.
Users may choose their own trusted shipping company by submitting a written request. In such cases, they will be responsible for the entire pick-up and shipping process, assuming all related obligations and costs. The sale will be considered “ex works.”
2. Delivery Times and Areas
Serviced Areas: Venezia Maschere ships to Italy, Europe, the United States, and the rest of the world, except for areas where couriers are unable to operate (as listed on the official websites of the couriers used). Deliveries will only be made to the address provided by the user at the time of purchase.
3. Estimated Delivery Times:
- Italy: Generally, the courier delivers within 24-72 working hours from the time the merchandise is collected. If no specific delivery date is provided, the maximum delivery period will be 30 days from order confirmation.
- European Union: Shipping is handled by a third-party courier, with delivery times ranging from 3 to 5 working days, up to a maximum of 30 days.
- Non-EU Countries: Deliveries are generally made within 10 working days, excluding possible delays due to customs inspections.
4. Failed Delivery and Buyer’s Responsibility
If the courier is unable to complete the delivery, they will leave a notice and store the merchandise at their warehouse. The recipient is responsible for contacting the courier to arrange a new delivery or collect the package.
If the buyer fails to collect the package or obstructs the delivery for reasons not attributable to Venezia Maschere, the contract will be considered properly executed, and no refund will be issued.
If delivery cannot take place for reasons beyond the control of both Venezia Maschere and the buyer, and 30 days have elapsed since the package was available for delivery, the contract will be considered terminated.
In case of contract termination due to failed delivery, Venezia Maschere will refund the order amount, excluding shipping costs and any additional charges arising from special delivery requests by the buyer. The refund will be issued within 30 days from contract termination. Any additional transportation costs will be borne by the buyer.
5. Shipping Costs
Shipping costs are entirely borne by the buyer and are transparently displayed at the time of ordering.
Venezia Maschere is not responsible for any delivery delays due to strikes, transportation suspensions, work stoppages, or force majeure events.
6. Inspection Upon Delivery
Upon delivery, the buyer or designated recipient must:
- Verify that the received products match those listed in the transport document (DDT) in terms of quantity and type.
- Ensure that the packaging is intact, undamaged, and has not been tampered with.
- If the packaging appears damaged or altered, the buyer must immediately report it to the courier by noting a written reservation on the proof of delivery. Failure to do so will prevent the buyer from making claims regarding external damages to the product.
Products will only be delivered to the buyer or an authorized delegate, who must sign for acceptance. Couriers do not deliver to P.O. boxes or leave packages in unattended mailboxes or drop-off points.
Art. 9 – Transfer of risk
1. The risk of loss or damage to products transfers to the buyer once the courier takes charge of the merchandise for shipping.
2. Ownership of the products is transferred to the buyer only upon full payment of all due amounts, including shipping costs. If payment is made after shipment, ownership is acquired at the time of actual delivery.
Art. 10 – Warranty and commercial compliance
1. All products sold by Venezia Maschere are handcrafted, fully hand-decorated, and assembled. As a result, each product is unique and may present slight variations from the model displayed on the website. These differences do not constitute a conformity defect but rather highlight the craftsmanship and exclusivity of the product.
2. In the event of transport-related defects (e.g., breakage), buyers who have entered into the contract as consumers have the right to have the product repaired or replaced at no additional cost. Alternatively, they may request a price reduction or contract termination with a refund of the paid amount.
3. However, such rights are only granted if the buyer opted for shipping insurance at the time of purchase. As stated in Art. 9, product responsibility transfers to the buyer once the courier takes charge of the merchandise.
Art. 11 – Withdrawal
1. In compliance with applicable regulations, buyers have the right to withdraw from the purchase without penalties and without providing any justification within 14 days from receiving the products, pursuant to Art. 57 of Legislative Decree 206/2005.
2. For multiple-item purchases within a single order that are delivered separately, the 14-day period starts from the date of receipt of the last product.
3. To exercise the right of withdrawal, the buyer must send an explicit notice to Venezia Maschere via registered mail with return receipt to the following address:

The request must also be sent via email and include:

(II) The reference to the purchase order from which they wish to withdraw.
Alternatively, the notice may be sent via email, provided that a confirmation registered letter is sent within 48 hours. The registered letter will be considered valid based on the postmark date.
4. Buyers may also exercise the right of withdrawal by submitting an explicit statement or using the standard withdrawal form provided in Annex I, Part B of Legislative Decree 21/2014 (not mandatory).
5. Product Returns:
- The buyer must return the products within 10 working days from submitting the withdrawal request.
- All return costs are borne by the buyer.
- Products must be returned intact, in their original packaging, and complete with all accessories and accompanying tax documentation.
- The refund will be issued within 30 days, subject to verification of the returned goods’ integrity.
6. Venezia Maschere reserves the right to withhold the refund until the returned goods are received, as provided for in Art. 56(3) of Legislative Decree 206/2005 (amended by Legislative Decree 21/2014).
7. The right of withdrawal does not apply to products and services that fall under the exceptions specified in Art. 59 of Legislative Decree 206/2005.
8. Refunds:
- Refunds will be made using the same payment method chosen by the buyer at the time of purchase.
- For bank transfer payments, the buyer must provide their bank details (IBAN, SWIFT, and BIC) to receive the refund.
Art. 12 – Data processing
1. The buyer’s personal data is processed in compliance with the applicable data protection laws, as specified in the dedicated Privacy Policy, drafted pursuant to Art. 13 of Legislative Decree of June 30, 2003, and Art. 13 of EU Regulation 2016/679 (GDPR).
